Samurai Champloo Filler List

Samurai Champloo Filler List【WORTH WATCHING】Spark Anime

Samurai Champloo is one anime series that falls into the “Great” category, because Samurai Champloo Filler List has both action packed fighting scenes and serious/funny moments well mixed together. Samurai Champloo is about Fuu, a young girl who is sick of her life in the rural town she lives in. While trying to run away she meets two very different samurai (Mugen and Jin) who for some reason or another help her escape to find the samurai that smells like sunflowers, without knowing what they’re getting themselves into.

The story line is surprisingly deep for anime, it delves into many subjects such as what makes a person human. How history is made up of the smaller things, rather than being an event that occurs, how to know if you are truly doing something or just following orders blindly.

Character’s Background:

Samurai Champloo anime series is known for its unique presentation and unconventional style of storytelling. It tells the story of three people. Mugen, Jin and Fuu who come together to decide their fate. Mugen is a fierce fighter who chooses to wander without aim.Jin has studied traditional Japanese martial arts since he was young only to eventually get betrayed by his master.

Fuu is a girl that recruits the two samurais in order to find the samurai that smells like sunflus flowers. The anime follows the trio as they embark on an adventure to find this mysterious man while meeting new people along the way. Despite being episodic anime. Samurai Champloo anime series ties every single episode together through its theme of “Samurai vs. Ninja” and through the use of repeated elements from one episode to another.

  1. Jin: He is 20 years old ronin (samurai without any master). He uses his waist-strung daishō to fight in the traditional style, the way all the regular samurai fight. He has killed many masters in self-defense in the past, and that is why many dojo members are inspired by him and follow him for his capabilities. He wears a stylish pair of glasses that were famous in that era makes the character attractive. The title image shows he smokes a pipe, but you will never see him smoking that pipe in the series.
  2. Mugen: he is 18 years old, bold, homeless from the penal colony of the Ryukyu Islands. Unlike Jin, he fights in unusual wild styles such as psychotic, temperamental, arrogant, lewd, vulgar, and rude. He loves to fight, and any small reason is enough for him to start a fight that makes him sort of an anti-hero character. He carries a foreign sai-handled sword on his back and wears old traditional footwear. The word Mugen means infinite in the Japanese language, and he was a former pirate as well.
  3. Fuu: she is an energetic 15 years old girl who asks Mugen and Jin to find “the samurai who smells of sunflowers.” Her father left her mother and her because of some reason not mentioned in the series. She lived hard days with her mother until she died of illness. After working in the restaurant as a waitress, she goes on an adventure with the other two characters.

Initial story of Samurai Champloo Anime:

The anime starts with Mugen practicing various fighting moves while humming a tune he heard earlier that day. Fuu happens to pass by and notices him, immediately running towards him with tears in her eyes. She cheerfully exclaims, “That’s it! That’s the song I was looking for!” After noticing that she is being stared at, Fuu realizes that there are tear stains on her face and hastily wipes them off. The anime then cuts to an anime that displays Mugen’s thoughts who is fixated on Fuu’s chest. Mugen notices the anime playing in his head and dismisses it.

Demon Wind:

Fuu tells Mugen about her situation, saying she was born during a stormy night in which the “demon wind” raged so much that her mother died while giving birth to her. However, before she passed away, a new-born infant slipped out of the woman’s womb – a baby girl. The anime shows a montage of how different people came by this scene and used the opportunity to take advantage of poor Fuu: first being some men going through some shady business stuff, followed by two drunkards finding they have been ditched by their group, and finally a man recalling how he gave up on Fuu. However, the anime stops before going into detail of who this last person was as if to tease viewers later about it.

War of the Worlds

War of the Worlds was a three part anime-original episode that aired during anime’s eighth season. It was an anime original, so it might have been considered filler, but it wasn’t since the events in the anime were set before episode 23, “Trials and Confessions”, which was actually canon.

In this anime-original arc Mugen is captured by slavers from Edo after being thrown from his wounded horse. Fuu has a series of adventures with a strange man named Tokichiro Kinoshita who she believes to be a demon because she can’t read his contract ring. During this time Fuu learns about what happened to her father and Jin ends up going for help against Nobunaga’s army. Mugen is left behind in Edo when the slavers are attacked by a rival group of slavers, but ends up cutting his way out and getting back to Fuu.

Tokichiro:

Tokichiro reveals that he is actually an Iga ninja who had been hired by the ninja master Tatsuma Suguro to protect her. He was trying to get Fuu alone so Tatsuma could meet with her after she killed Lord Koishikawa’s son, but then Mugen showed up. It turned into a fight between Mugen and Tatsuma’s men after which ended with the three of them escaping Edo together.

The anime-original arc lasted for three episodes and was called “War of the Worlds” because it took place on an alternate version of Earth. The anime-original ending was slightly different from the anime original opening. It started with Mugen, Fuu, and Tokichiro walking up to a village that had been ravaged by Nobunaga’s troops. After that they went back to Osaka Castle where Mugen fought Jin one last time.

Cosmic Collisions:

Cosmic Collisions is a non-profit anime fan made short film created by the group Samurai Champloo: The Saga of Mugen and initially released on April 1, 2016. The project was announced in 2012 and began production in 2013 with a Kickstarter campaign to help fund the project that raised $16,473 from 311 backers.

Without raising any additional funds through other promotions or capitalization, Samurai Champloo Cosmic Collisions is estimated to be produced at a cost of $4,796.77. This low budget corresponds to the anime’s many recycled scenes and sets. The anime has 26 episodes which are collectively around 3 hours longs according to an estimate done by one site that estimates anime lengths . It also offers free viewing of the anime on its YouTube channel.
