The original Sailor Moon Filler List series began in the early 1990s as a worldwide phenomenon. Naoko Takeuchi wrote the manga series, which was adapted into an anime series later on. In Japan, the manga is published every month by Kodansha in their manga anthology Nakayoshi. This series began in May 1991 and has continued ever since. Produced by Toei Animation, the anime aired from 1992 to 1997 with 200 episodes, three movies (one of which is a remake) and two short specials. DIC Entertainment dubbed the anime into English for distribution in North America. The Japanese version was aired on TV Asahi. As well as the Sailor Moon video games, this dubbing company dubbed those as well. While Takeuchi Naoko designed the characters, a team of writers headed by Takeshi Kanda, Mariko Mochizuki, and Toshio Masuda worked on writing the storyline.

Sailor Moon Plot
Sailor Moon Filler List anime series is about Usagi Tsukino (nicknamed Sailor Moon), a fourteen-year-old girl. The Tsukino family lives in a typical apartment building in Tokyo. As well as Ami Mizuno, Rei Hino, Makoto Kino, Minako Aino (later called Sailor Moon), and Luna, Usagi has a lot of friends. Her school does not have many popular students, but she does have a few friends. Naru Osaka is by far her closest friend. The same can be said for Naru’s older brother, Umino.
As well as Sailor Moon Filler List the typical problems teenage girls face, Usagi and her friends must also battle evil. Aliens called Metalia are responsible for this evil. Humans are what Metaalia wants to infest and turn into her kind.r kind. Only a few humans have been found by Sailor Moon so far due to her and her friends’ excellent fighting skills. Sailor Moon Filler List are shocked to find out that Usagi’s classmates, Ami, Rei, Makoto, and Minako, are also Sailor Scouts. In addition to Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, and Sailor Venus, they also include Sailor Mars (Rei), Sailor Venus (Minako), and Sailor Mercury. This means that Metalia has a much better chance of being defeated by the Sailor Senshi!
Tokyo is periodically attacked by these monsters, so the girls must stop them. As the Senshi fight these monsters, they learn more about themselves and about the future.

It’s not far behind Naruto Shippuden Filler, since Sailor Moon has a lot of Filler, but these episodes have a good justification. With the broadcasting of the anime and the manga publication begun in 1992, one chapter of the manga cannot be altered to fit an episode of the anime and the feature film was published weekly, which means you would have to adapt about one chapter of the manga to four episode of the film, which is impossible.
The author had to include a lot of Sailor Moon Filler episodes, but he only made the show funnier, taking away the seriousness of the story from it, unlike the manga version.

When Sailor Moon Crystal was intended to be an anime remake without any filler, what purpose does these guides serve?
It’s not an adaptation of an anime from the 90s. The story of the manga is adapted for this reboot. Sailor Moon Crystal would have included the plethora of changes the anime made from the manga if it were meant to be a “remake without the filler.”. Crystal does not have the anime-only additions and changes because it was never intended as a remake of the 90’s anime (and judging it as such is completely unfair).
It doesn’t automatically make the original obsolete when something gets rebooted or remade. Sometimes these things can actually be beneficial.
Can you tell me if I should watch Crystal or the original anime if I am new to Sailor Moon?
Depending on your tastes, I suppose. With an emphasis on the romance between Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask, Crystal is a fast-paced shoujo drama. In the anime, the main five characters live an everyday life centered around action and comedy. In spite of the fact that Crystal has an interesting plot and lore, it lacks the juvenile silliness of the 90s anime that catapulted it to massive success. For that reason, I do not recommend Crystal as an entry point into the SM franchise. I have been wishing for a manga-based anime for decades, but the original 90’s anime is the reason for the franchise’s fame.
Having said that, there are naturally going to be some people out there whose first exposure to SM was Crystal and who thoroughly enjoyed it, regardless of what I would recommend. Even if I still listed “required + recommended” episode counts, go ahead and watch Crystal.
In my opinion, people should just watch every episode of this guide instead of following it.
Those who don’t want to watch every episode should read this article. People would watch all the movies on their own without any guide and would never need one to begin with.
