This means that only 14% of the episodes were fillers. Reborn, an infant hitman from Italy, is sent to tell Tsunayoshi “Tsuna” Sawada that he is the only remaining heir to the Vongola mafia family and as such will become its next boss. Episode 1: “The Lion’s Arrival, Takeshi’s Family” (known as Reborn! Special: The Mysterious Transfer Student)
– This episode takes place between Tsuna and Reborn’s first meeting and the beginning of the story.
– A new transfer student named Pino arrives at Namimori Middle School. At first she seems to be a normal girl but it later shows that she is an assassin from Vongola who was sent to protect Tsuna. Also, a young boy named Irie Shoichi works for the Millefiore family and is sent to kill Reborn under orders from Byakuran. However, both assassins fail to do their job since they end up falling in love with each other due to the training that Reborn gave them before their mission.
– This episode was released as a 3D retelling of special manga chapter “Reborn! The School of Explosion Magic” along with Episode 2.
Episode 2: “The Dino’s Family, Chrome’s Famiglia” (known as Reborn! Special: Mysterious Transfer Student)
– This episode takes place between Tsuna and Reborn’s first meeting and the beginning of the story.
– When Bianchi, Lal Mirch and I-Pin visit Namimori for some shopping, they meet up with Hibari Kyoya who tells them about a new transfer student at school named Pino. At first everyone doesn’t believe him since he is known for telling lies, but later it turns out that Pino is actually an assassin from Vongola who was sent to protect Tsuna.
– This episode was released along with Episode 1 as a 3D retelling of special manga chapter “Reborn! The School of Explosion Magic” .
Episode 3: “The Sun Guardians, Haru’s Past”
– Takes place during the day after the Kokuyo Gang attack when Gokudera and Yamamoto are hospitalized. – Haru meets up with Hibari in Namimori while he is patrolling. She reveals that she came back to Japan to ask Reborn for help in order to take down Byakuran who is planning to use her in his newest plan—the Arcobaleno Curse.
– This episode contains a small amount of footage from the anime series, however it has a different ending.

Episode 4: “The Sun Guardians, Kyoko’s Problem”
– Takes place during the day after the Kokuyo Gang attack when Gokudera and Yamamoto are hospitalized. – Kyoko wakes up to find Haru in her house and learns that she wants to stop Byakuran from using her for his plan by having Reborn take away her Flame of Wrath. However, Kyoko doesn’t believe what she is telling her and insists that Haru needs time to adjust to Japan before making such decisions. While they talk about their pasts with Tsuna and Iemitsuwho originally sent Haru back to Japan for her safety—Haru runs off to take care of Shitt P and the other Arcobaleno who were hiding in Namimori.
– The events during Kyoko, Haru and Reborn’s meeting at Kyoko’s house is based on the original extra chapter “Reborn! Love & Justice”.
Episode 5: “The Sun Guardians, The New Semester”
– Takes place immediately after Tamaki realized that he had made a mistake with his plan as well as after Gokudera and Yamamoto meet up with Tsuna at Namimori Middle School. – Reborn finally arrives back from Italy along with Lal Mirch and Bianchi (who came back to help out with the children). Meanwhile, Shoichi Irie (part of the Vongola’s intelligence team) tells Tsuna about an unknown organization that is planning something against him. This new threat seems to be related to one of the seven wonders—the Arcobaleno Curse.
– The events during Reborn, Bianchi and Lal Mirch’s re-arrival at Namimori are based on the original manga chapter “Reborn! Pirate Action”. Note: For unknown reasons, some scenes from this episode were cut or shortened.
Episode 6: “The Sun Guardians, New Semester”
– Takes place immediately after Tamaki realized that he had made a mistake with his plan as well as after Gokudera and Yamamoto meet up with Tsuna at Namimori Middle School. – The episode mostly takes place during the second day of school, where Gokudera and Yamamoto are trying to make up for lost time—going to class since they skipped all last year. Reborn decides to get rid of his sun guardian duties once again by sending Dino who is still in his adult form (he has been training with Shamal and Spanner). However, he encounters a dangerous assassin known as Genkishi who uses Kyoya’s flames against him after getting rid of Dino’s watch.
– The events during this episode were based on the original manga chapters “Reborn! The Sun Guardian” and “The Assassins vs Vongola”.
Episode 7: “At the End of the Dream…”
– Takes place after Tsuna and his friends had finished watching a movie at Namimori Cinema. – As they walk around the streets, Trunks bumps into I-Pin who is looking for Kyoko. While trying to find her, Hibari meets up with them and suggests that they go look for Kyoko together which leads them to an abandoned factory where Byakuran has trapped Reborn and Kyoya in order to get rid of the Vongola Guardians once and for all—having Irie working with him on this plan by using the Arcobaleno Curse as a way to bring out their “hidden power”.
– The events during this episode were based on the original manga chapter “Reborn! Illusionary Girl” though it ends at a different scene.
Episode 8: “The Sun Guardians, Secret Move” Reborn Filler List
– Takes place shortly after Hibari defeats Mukuro in the illusionary world and decides to return to the physical world with Byakuran’s help. – During this time, Reborn starts training Tsuna and his friends for their upcoming battle against Byakuran who is most likely going to use an advanced curse which was created by Irie himself. While at Namimori Middle School, Gokudera undergoes some kind of pain from his newly awakened sun field but refuses to tell anyone about it not wanting them to worry especially Yamamoto who has been through similar problems before when he first started undergoing training from Reborn—meaning that both of them were cursed by Irie before.
– The events during this episode were based on the original manga chapters “Reborn! Illusionary Girl” and “The Sun Guardians, New Semester”. Note: For unknown reasons, this was the only episode to not be aired (it was replaced with episodes 9 & 10 instead).
Episode 9: “The Sun Guardians, Secret Move” Reborn Filler List
– Takes place after Tsuna and his friends return from their training session in the illusionary world that Reborn had set up where they realized that the time stopped for everyone but them. – During this time, Shoichi has returned back to Italy in order to get help from Colonnello who is knows more about Irie’s curse so he can save Yamamoto and Gokudera. Later on, Shoichi returns to Japan after a while and he has completed his plan which is to regain the trust of the past Arcobaleno by defeating Mukuro who had been released from Vendicare Prison in order to help Byakuran get rid of Tsuna and his Guardians—meaning that it’ll be like old times once again (Mukuro was considered an outcast at one point in time because he disagreed with their ideals).

– Takes place after Shoichi explains his plan to save Yamamoto and Gokudera from Irie’s curse while at Reborn’s house. – Later on, the Vongola Guardians are sent back into the past to help out their future counterparts take down both Byakuran and Mukuro once and for all—and in order to do that Kyoko has convinced Chrome who is hiding somewhere in Namimori to face Mukuro head on. While returning back home, Tsuna gets into a fight with Hibari only be interrupted by Bianchi who tries an assassination attempt against him under Mukuro’s orders not knowing that he is in the future at the moment. (She does this by using her poison cooking to leave Tsuna defenseless since he has no resistance towards deadly poisons).

– Takes place after Shoichi explains his plan to save Yamamoto and Gokudera from Irie’s curse while at Reborn’s house. – During this time, Gokudera has decided to fight Gamma (the human that the 9th’s Mist Guardian was after) in order to take him out once and for all but he never expected someone like Hibari to suddenly show up—not only to help him during their fight with Gamma but also for her own reasons.

Episode 12: “The Eighth’s Resolve!”
– This episode takes place sometime after Tsuna returns home from his training trip with Reborn only to find out that he has received an invitation from Byakuran regarding his position for the Vongola’s future—and instead of Byakuran, it turns out that it was actually one of his subordinates (Mukuro) who had sent Tsuna this letter.

– This episode takes place after Tsuna receives a letter from Mukuro which leads him back to Namimori even though their supposed meeting is also under the condition that Mukuro will die along with him. – During their meeting, Byakuran’s subordinates suddenly appear wanting to take over both Vongola and Millefiore instead of just one; but things turn for the worst when they end up kidnapping Kyoko (who was nearby during this time) only to find out that she is immune to Mukuro’s illusions because she has been living in a world similar to his own all her life—and it turns out that her ability allows her to not be affected by any illusionary abilities. – Hibari also shows up saying that he wants revenge against Mukuro and later on.
