Dragon Ball Kai Filler List is a revised version of the anime series Dragonball Z, which was produced by Toei animation. The original 291 episodes were reduced to a total of 97 episodes from Episodes 1-98 and 127-194 for this new incarnation of Dragon Ball Z in Japan in April 2009.
The Funimation dub also experienced some major changes, with most character’s voices redone and an overall better sense of timing and quality than that found in their previous effort; they re-released it under the title Dragon Ball Z Kai (more information on that here ) in America in May 2011. The 97 episode version features edited content and an improved soundtrack with newer dialogue lines.
Dragon Ball Kai Filler:
Dragon Ball Kai is a more or less a shot-for-shot remake in some regards, but there are still plenty of differences between it and the original anime. Here’s a list of just a few examples:
1) Computer Graphics have been used to enhance some scenes. Examples include re-creations of the Spirit Bomb and Kamiccolo final moments.
2) In terms of script writing , they added quite a few purely comical lines which were originally absent even from their respective English dubs (such as Goten asking Trunks to wrestle with him).
3) Many new songs have been introduced, most notably for Goku’s Super Saiyan 4 transformation song .
4) As mentioned in the video, some “unnecessary” content (such as Pilaf and co. and many others) have been removed from their respective sagas. Plus, filler has been reduced to a bare minimum with only around 2-3 episodes of it being present per saga.
5) In terms of dialogue , most lines have been re-written for better diction and timing purposes . 6) Kai does not include any material from either DragonBall GT or the OVA series . It does show the first few minutes of the film The History Of Trunks , but stops before any actual events take place within it

Dragon Ball Kai Filler Guide:
After defeating Frieza, Goku returns to Earth. After living a peaceful life for some time, one day the Earth is attacked by an evil force, and Goku once again leaves for space in order to stop it.

On Kaiō-sama’s planet, Goku finishes packing up his belongings. Kaiō-sama asks Goku what he plans on doing now that the battle against evil was over, and Goku responds that he does not feel like doing anything special. They have a little small talk as they have some pu-pusiang1 and then say goodbye to each other. Now all by himself, a lonely Goku thinks a bit about all that’s happened up to this day, then he suddenly gets the urge to do some training. “I guess I’ll go back and see old Kaiō-sama.” Goku thinks of going home on a brand new Kinto’un2 that Kaiō-sama has created for him, but then gets yet another urge to train.
