Omae no jibun:
The opening theme ” Omae no jibun” was sung by KANA-BOON while the ending theme “Moshimo” was sung by Little Glee Monster . Boruto’s first season soundtrack was composed by Hiroaki Tsutsumi who also did the score for Naruto Shippuuden, Boruto’s predecessor.
Filler guide
Boruto follows the Naruto anime in which Naruto goes through his ninja training. However, there are times where the anime takes a break from following the manga. These breaks are called filler arcs. Filler arcs are basically side stories that don’t have much to do with the main plot of Boruto next generation. They may even contradict with spoilers or other things found within the manga itself. There are different kinds of filler arcs as well, ranging from being interesting to being pretty bad for fans who want to watch more of Boruto.
BORUTO FILLER LIST Arcs can be Skipped:
Some filler arcs can be skipped entirely by watching only up until the anime catches up to the current points in the manga so far, but some filler arcs provide important background information about certain characters and concepts within the Narutoverse.
It’s good to know when filler arcs happen and which arcs are the best (and worst) of what Boruto has to offer. To help you out, we’ve compiled this list that breaks down every filler arc, with a short synopsis and whether it’s worth watching or not. It is important to remember that these lists will be based on how big of an impact on the story they have and also how interesting they are so while some anime-only fans may love certain filler arcs, others can be poor in quality or just plain boring. If you don’t want any spoilers at all about what happens during Naruto , skip over the “Important Filler Arcs” section until you’re up to date with Boruto .
Important BORUTO FILLER LIST Arcs
While all filler arcs are not important to Boruto ‘s story, some provide significant background information about certain concepts, characters and events. These are what we call “important filler arcs.” Meeting with the Kazekage is an important arc because it shows how Naruto fought during the war against Kabuto. The Chunin exams are also important for explaining more about how ninja work in Konoha. It’s good to watch these before you actually get into Boruto itself to have a better understanding of crucial aspects that play into the story of Boruto next generation. If you’re wondering why these are considered important, well… there has been other anime-only audiences who were confused by certain things within the first few episodes of Boruto , so this is a good way to fill in those gaps.
Episodes: “Naruto Shippuden” episodes 345-360 Note:
These episodes are filler, but they’re directly tied into the manga’s main story and should be watched alongside reading chapters 700+ on. The Chunin exams happen every 3 years within Konoha and consists of 2 parts: written tests and tournament battles. The first part is taken by all participants while only the top competitors continue onto the second part. In these episodes, we see some familiar characters from Naruto as well as some new ones that play big roles in Boruto . It’s important to watch these episodes because it provides more information about various ninja abilities, how the Chunin exams work, some characters that play big roles in Boruto , and it also reflects upon Naruto’s past.
Episodes: “Boruto : Naruto the Movie” movie Note:
The events of this film are canon to Boruto . Watch this before episode 1 or else you might be confused by certain things.
Naruto Shippuden Filler Guide Episodes: 371-383 Note:
It’s recommended to just skip these filler arcs unless they’re important for building up future arcs within the manga. These fillers mostly focus on side characters that don’t have much to do with the main story and only serve as a distraction from what we really want – more of Boruto . However, if you need to fill in some gaps, watch episodes 383-384 and then 385-386 otherwise you might be confused.
Naruto Shippuden Filler Guide
Episodes: 384-387 Note: You can skip these filler episodes since they’re not important to the main story and only serve as a side story that doesn’t contribute much to what’s going on. However, if you need to fill in some gaps after episode 382 or just want something extra to watch, go ahead – but note that these are basically just there for amusement purposes.
Important Filler Arcs Episodes: 388-423 Note:
The Chunin exams are important filler arcs because it explains more about how ninja work in Konoha along with providing information about certain characters that play a big role in Boruto . Watch these episodes before episode 1 of Boruto or else you might be confused by certain things.
Important Filler Arcs Episodes: 400-406, 412-417 Note:
The Bikochu arc is important to the story because it shows how much Mitsuki’s clan influenced his life and upbringing along with what Naruto was doing during the war against Kabuto. There are also some other events that happen here that reflect upon later arcs in Boruto anime, so watch this before episode 47 of Boruto if you want to have a better understanding about certain things going on. Important Filler Arcs Episodes: 416-423 Note: The InoShikaCho arc serves as a filler that’s important because, well… it’s not that important, but there are some points here that play into later events of Boruto anime. Episodes: 424-430 Note:
The boy band filler arc is nothing more than something silly to watch since it has about as much substance to it as watching Naruto for half an hour. There are some things here that may be confusing though if you haven’t read or seen any of Naruto , so just be aware of this part. However, feel free to skip all the other fillers in between episodes 424-430 if you want to.
BORUTO FILLER LIST Guide Episodes: 1-12, 47 Note:

The Sumire filler arc focuses on a girl that used to have a crush on Boruto but got rejected, and she now wants revenge after becoming a genjutsu user for a group chasing after Sasuke’s head. This arc delves into Sumire’s past a bit which is also useful because she plays a big role in Boruto anime – plus there are some other events here worth seeing too. Skip the rest of these filler episodes unless you really need something extra to watch.
Important Filler Arcs Episodes: 93-95, 97 Note:
The coding filler arc is a short anime original arc that’s worth watching because it has some important information regarding metagaming. Important Filler Arcs Episodes: 148-153 Note:
The Sarada filler arc is something that can help with character development for Sarada along with providing some important information about her past – but only watch this filler if you care about seeing things happen first hand instead of hearing someone else talk or reading a summary or anything like that. However, you can skip all of the other fillers in between episodes 149-153 since they’re nothing important whatsoever.
Important Filler Arcs Episodes: 154-156 Note:
Mitsuki’s backstory is something most fans have been waiting for ever since learning about Mitsuki being an Uchiha in Boruto episode 10, so you’ll want to watch this filler arc before episodes 167-171 which mostly talks about Mitsuki’s past again only from Boruto and Sarada’s perspective. There are some other events here worth seeing too. Skip the rest of these filler episodes unless you really need something extra to watch.
Note: This story arc is actually a dream world created by Rinnegan Toneri within Naruto’s mind which allows him to hijack Naruto’s body in Boruto: Naruto the Movie. You can skip this entire filler arc and still be able to follow Boruto if you wanted to.

Important Filler Arcs Episode: 167 Note:
This filler talks about how Mitsuki joined Team 7, and it goes over some of his past along with Sasuke and Sarada too – but this is probably best suited for fans who want to get the full scope of everything that happened instead of having things talked about by someone else or summarized. Skipping all the other fillers in between episode 167 won’t cause much problems either since none are really important.
Important Filler Arcs Episode: 168 Note:
This filler’s about Sarada going on a training trip with her team but it also discusses Mitsuki a bit too – and who knows, this might be something you want to watch depending on how interested you are in learning more about characters. You can watch this if you really want or skip all of these filler episodes since they’re pointless anyway.

Mitsuki’s rainy day is an anime original story where Boruto and others find Mitsuki on a rainy day. The Chunin exams begin! covers the beginning portion where everyone fights their exam opponents while Kinshiki and Momoshiki Otsutsuki attack causing Naruto and Sasuke to leave for a while.
